Were a spiritual family who desires to reach the lost and welcome you into our family atmosphere? Were a spiritual family of friendly, Joyful, and caring people who have discovered the joys in walking with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  We are people just like you. We invite you to come, check us out, and discover the difference. Indian Fork Baptist Church is a Bible-focused congregation dedicated to teaching and reaching the Bagdad, Kentucky area and the community and world fulling the Great Commission (Matt. 28-18-20).

Lives are changed and we at IFBC believe in the mission work of the church, to deliver a life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission is simple:

  • Believe: in the word of God.
  • Commit: To living life to God and serving His Church,
  • Go: Go forth and tell others about Jesus.

As a Conservative Southern Baptist Church, we hold only to what the scriptures proclaim the church to be, act, engage, and live by. We concentrate on teaching and preaching the Bible according to true meaning from Genesis to Revelation. We believe if we concentrate on building disciples through the word of God, More people can be reached for the Glory of God and not ourselves. We at IFBC strive to help people develop a balanced approach to the biblical approach. Worship, fellowship, evangelism, discipleship, service to God through our church and in our lives.

Welcome, Steve Adams Sr. Pastor

We welcome you here at Indian Fork Baptist Church. When you come for the first time you may be a guest but in our hearts, you are truly family. Steve and Kristi have been at Indian Fork since 2012. Steve began serving as associate Pastor in 2012 and was confirmed in 2016 as a senior pastor. Brother Steve Adams completed his Masters of Divinity Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in spring 2019. Steve and Kristi’s passion is to help people grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God loves the world so much that he gave his only begotten son for our sins, he would die so we may live. Kristi works full time at the Bagdad postal service and doing full-time ministry work for the Glory of God. Steve while completing his masters works toward the spreading of the Gospel and in prayer with the community, while serving as an Educator at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Shelby County... We know what it is like to work diligently and staying busy for kingdom work and life. We all must find time to grow in Christ and to become closer to Christ. We encourage you to come to surround yourself with a congregation whose arms are open, welcoming, and caring. This congregation truly knows the meaning of the 2 greatest commandments. Love your lord with all your heart, soul, and mind. The second is to love your neighbor as yourself. We at Indian fork truly hold to these statements. We love God and we love you.

In His Service, God Bless

Bro. Steve Adams and Kristi Adams

Discover the Difference!

Have you ever wondered why lots of people aren’t active in church these days? Could it be too often?

  • Sermons are boring and they don’t relate to our lives?
  • Preachers water down the word instead of expository truth from God’s word?
  • Church’s at times seem only interested in your money?
  • Childcare and personal care are just not up to par?
